About
Lauren founded Pets of Honor® in August 2023, inspired by her Golden Retriever Phil — who she describes as more than a dog, but family. She brought her corporate marketing background to the business, building a service that treats every pet as a VIP and every couple's vision with the same personal investment she'd want for her own big day.
How It Works
After an inquiry and a live video call to go over every detail, you'll receive a contract and lock in your date with a deposit. On the wedding day, the team picks up your pet, drives them to the venue, handles everything from the ceremony escort and photos to cocktail hour mingling, and closes out the day with a relaxing walk and cuddle session back at your hotel.

The team manages everything from chauffeuring your pet to the venue and coordinating their ceremony entrance to helping your photographer get the best shots. They also handle feeding, walks, and clean-up throughout the day, and can include your pet in the marriage license signing with a paw print. At the end of the evening, they bring your pet home safe and settled.
Do you travel outside Colorado for weddings?
Yes — Pets of Honor® is based in Denver but serves couples nationwide. Travel coverage is included in each package tier (up to 40, 60, or 200 miles depending on the package), and the Full Weekender package is designed for couples who want their pet cared for across the entire wedding weekend wherever that takes place.
How far in advance should we book, and what does the process look like?
Start with a quote inquiry, and Lauren's team will follow up to schedule a live video call to go through your wedding details. Once a contract is sent and reviewed, a deposit secures your date. Final details are confirmed 1–2 weeks before your wedding. There's also an optional meet-and-greet at your home so your pet can get comfortable with the team before the big day.
